To delete pictures from iphone, plug phone into Mac. Open PREVIEW APP (comes standard on macs). The preview app will see the pictures on the iphone. Do a select all (command A) then select "import from iphone". The computer will ask you to select a location/destination , then click "import". After import is done, look on the bottom row of the preview app, you will see a circle with a line through it. Click on that and it will ask you if you want to delete pics from iPhone. Click yes and that's it!

I'm sure more than one of the MAC users in the group would benefit from your instructions for removing from phone once downloaded to computer. Photos take up a huge amount of space on my phone.
