My iPhone 5S did the same thing. I turned off the iCloud connection and that solved my issues. I even had my iPhone replaced. There is probably an app that is not powering off? I recently turned iCloud all features on and my battery started the same drain problem. I need to try them selectively to see which features of iCloud are causing the problem.
