[apple-iphone] Image Capture, iPhoto, and Lightroom quit recognizing my iPhone?

 

All of a sudden, Image Capture, iPhoto, and Lightroom quit recognizing my iPhone 5s and  iPad. I am running  10.9.4. this is not happening on my laptop that is running 10.7.5

Any ideas why this is happening all of a sudden
