Yes it is true. I just switched to the Mobile Share plan. Tethering & mobile hotspot are features of this new plan. I was away with no wireless connection so I used the hotspot feature at no,extra charge with my iPad. I did however need to call customer service to activate the hotspot feature. They just needed to update the IMEI # on that particular line.

My son is saying that if you have the mobile share plan with ATT, you can now tether for free? Does anyone know if this is correct? And is the tethering the same thing as using the mobile hot spot feature?Ashi
