[apple-iphone] New computer iTunes weirdness

 

I recently bought a new Windows 7 laptop (having heard the iTunes doesn't like Windows 8). I've moved all of my music to the new laptop and downloaded the latest version of iTunes. All of my music appears as it should. Until... When I plug in my iPhone 5 (up to date version). When I try to sync music to the phone, much of the music shows up in iTunes as UNKNOWN ARTIST but with the album title listed. When sync is complete, the music appears to be normal on the phone too (listing the artist and the album title correctly). Knowing the album title certainly helps. Even more music appears in iTunes as UNKNOWN ARTIST - UNKNOWN ALBUM. Now that's a real problem! I did check one of those boxes and sync to my phone, and that music, too, appears as normal on the phone. Any ideas on how I can get iTunes to show ALL of the artists and album titles so I can sync all of the music I want on my phone? Thanks in advance. Scott
