[apple-iphone] Music streaming data and such

It does take a lot of time and space to put those cd's on the phone, at least 1500 like I have. Believe it or not you can get tired of even 1500 songs. I still stream so I don't grow tired of my collection. Actually these days I listen to more podcasts than music. I like Songs which was bought by google and about to be history. They say my playlist preferences will be transferred to google music and be free. I'm not convinced on the free part. Downside of songza is fidelity not the best and volume not as loud as elsewhere. I also like iheart. I used pandora for years but they commercial you to death anymore. You can pay the $5/mo ransom. I can't figure out or get anyone to tell me what the big deal is about spotify. At least for music on the go which is when I listen- while driving. 2g or 6g a month ? My shared plan is 40g a month which I use about 15 myself. Me and my son used to be unlimited with other family members joining after unlimited was no longer available. We figured out we get a 20g shared plan for the same money. This with AT&T. They have doubled that to 40 at least for a while longer and even rollover. My suspicion is music uses less data than podcasts. The T Mobile thing sounds interesting. I know several people like it but I wonder about coverage area. I drive a truck between Dallas,Tx and El Paso,Tx 610 miles with 90, maybe 95% coverage on AT&T. Origionally I was on AT&T then switched to Cingular which became AT&T. Of course that's when the flip phones came out and all the rage! I asked my son if I needed to get a new phone before the 2yr contracts end and he said we will do better with next financing. Your mileage may vary. Mike R
