Re: [apple-iphone] Restore

I don't feel confident in giving you an answer since it happened once.  Since it's a new Mac, I would call Apple Support just to be sure.  I don't know about you, but I tend to be paranoid about my music because I've spent countless hours ripping CDs!

Thanks pat.  That was very useful.  I deleted all my old back-ups.

I bought a new mac and when I synced my phone to it it deleted all the music.  Fortunately I had another phone on which all the music was there and from there I transferred it to the new mac using a transfer programme.  Question: if I sync the phone on which the music was deleted will the music get deleted again.  Thanks a lot.

On my Mac, I go to:  iTunes>Preferences>Devices to delete old backups.  On my iOS device I go to:  Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage.

When I tried to restore my 6+ it restored it to a very old backup instead of the latest. How may I delete all old backups so that any restore is only from the last?
