As an early birthday present to myself, I bought two soundtrack CDs from a Barnes & Noble near me and copies them to my Dell Infenal—oops, Inferon—laptop. Fine so far, although it reminded me that in the last computer meltdown, I somehow lost most of the CDs I'd copies to it....and then wanted to sync my iPhone 5c with my laptop, because I realized that a) those CDs are on my phone, and I wanted to add these two new ones. That way I can play and listen to them with earbuds and not disturb John. Yes, I could use earphones on the laptop, but the ones I have are uncomfortable with my glasses. And no, I don't want to buy new ones. The problem is that when I plugged in my phone to the laptop (and I tried different cables), I keep getting a message that the attempt has failed and the phone doesn't exist. My family nerd is stumped!I would *really* like to be able to listen to these on Monday, without having to go to another room, and begin copying those CDs from the phone to the laptop, without having to get out the original CDs and do them on the laptop one by one. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!--Barra
