Hi Ken:
I use my Echolink on my 5S (Verizon) all the time. I am running EchoLink by Synergenetics, LLC, version 2.1 and Build 2.1.2 if that means anything. I used it while Grand Teton National Park on the local cellular carrier there and it worked just fine.
