Thanks Tony. I did just that and played around with some stuff. My bluetooth which was on, was turned off and I had to put it back on.
I also played around with some of the other new settings and so far so good. No problems - just a little getting used to how things work and don't work now.

Pleasure . I found some settings were on by default one example being Bluetooth . Check settings out and I'm sure all will be wellTonyNZ
Sent from my iPhone 5 Thanks Tony. I was hoping after three updates most all the kinks should be worked out. Certainly some of the fundamental ones anyways.I will take a look at the settings once I hit the button and things finish, but if I can't figure it out, rest assured I'll be back with a few more questions.I feel like I'm late to the game, but at the same time hope I'm not alone in figuring things out at this time. Thanks!

The best beta test if there was one was to the masses. iOS 7 has thus found some glitches most or all are fixedNote that iOS 7 turned on some settings by default so recheck them to restore speed and battery
Sent from my iPhone 5 Well I've been reading about a bunch of problems everyone is having but not sure which apply to which devices anymore, which have been resolved and which are ongoing issues that I still might encounter. The other thing I'm worried about is iPad 2 performance. I've read that it slows down quite a bit when running iOS 7. Not sure if the hardware is up to it or if the recent upgrades have made it better.Thanks.
Cheers,B.L>You are going to get a lot of opinions both ways. I say go for it on iPhone and iPad. I think iOS 7 the greatest thing that has happened to iDevices. On Fri, Oct 25, 2013 at 2:55 PM, Barbara-Lynn Smith <bl_smith25@hotmail.com> wrote:Hi,
I have an iPad 2 and in iPhone 5. The iPad is running ios5 still (last of the google map native app timeframe) and the iPhone is running the last thing before iOS7 came out.
I'm thinking of leaving the iPad the way it is, but upgrading the iPhone 5 to the latest iOS 7.
For those with the same devices as me, what do you recommend? What's still not working right for the original iPhone 5? Will I regret upgrading?
Any suggestions on what to do with the iPad 2 at this point?
Thanks for any suggestions,
B.L
