Re: [apple-iphone] How to... Remove Apps?

If you've removed the app from your phone then you wouldn't ever get any notifications. It must not have been removed. Also clear all notifications.

You must remove app from iTune also else you will get updates. Open iTune and click on App (not device's App) then delete it from there. It will remove permanently. I do the same when I want to remove any App permanently.

This may be the most basic question asked, but I have trouble with it.

How do I permanently remove apps from my iPhone (and iPad)?  I can delete the apps from my iPhone 5, but I still get notifications in Updates to get the latest version.

Do I plug in to the computer and do it through iTunes?  Can I do it on my device in iTunes?

Sorry for the boring question, but I do need to figure this out.

Thanks!
