[apple-iphone] Deleting mail

 

Hi,

I've just upgraded to iOS 7 on my iPhone 5. I'm using the native mail app. I used to delete the message using a horizontal swipe, then touching the delete key that popped up.
That doesn't seem to work anymore for me. To delete the message I need to delete it when I have it open to read or do the Edit, select, trash, then trash again to get it deleted.
I didn't see any settings for swiping and that may not be the right name for it and I could have missed it.
But is that the only ways of deleting emails now? No more swiping anymore?
