You can do the same for an attachment. Open the attachment hit the action button. Hit print then zoom with your fingers. It converts to a PDF that can be stored in any storage location you have and use on your phone. If you want to put it back on your Mac (I don't have one) use whatever file transfer is standard for a Mac iPhone transfer.
I have tried that.
When I moved my fingers apart nothing apparently happened
