Re: [apple-iphone] Saving File on iPhone

<<mostly because there is  no detailed printed manual for it.>>

The complaint so many of us make of so many items of modern technology. The trouble is that it is self-perpetuating. To devise, edit and index a written volume properly is a major undertaking, heavy on human input. On the other hand, the argument by the producers of software, hardware, cars, electronic goods etc that there is no demand for better manuals is not quite on the ball. The demand is also low because the manuals are so rotten - badly written and inadequately-indexed. The problem is circular, and the shelf-life of each product very short. Only forums (like this one) can really cover the ground.

To put it into other words, there is a manual, it is just not in printed form. Having it in printed form, would be like keeping a card file, for information on your computer.

Do a Google search for your model of iPhone as well as your iOS system.  Apple provides user guides for each.
