Email is NOT disappearing. I download it using POP onto my desk computer so it no longer appears on the iphone.
That is what I want
However, I wanted to save on the iPhone a file that I had sent to the iPhone as an email attachment.
Thanks to suggestions, I have now managed to save it as aNOTE.

Sent from my iPadBrent, when you say that they are only available to the first device that is not true. I use POP for my home computer, iphone and iPad, and the mail goes to all of them. I can read and delete on any off the devices and the same message is still there on the other devices. Yes, I have to end up deleting the same message from all of the devices where I don't want to save the message on that device, but the messages are sent to, and reside on, all of the devices.Nancy
