Re: [apple-iphone] Saving File on iPhone

If you use POP then just change the email setting on the iphone so that mail does not get deleted on retrieval. I use the same system - mail is usually retrieved on my computer, so any I get on the iphone stays on the POP server until my computer retrieves and deletes it

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I did that, but how do I save the Word file one it arrives on the iphone.

I use POP on my computer not  IMAP so messages disappear from iPhone when I download them on my desktop machine.

With best wishes and thanks again.

Ladies & Gentlemen

Is  there an easy (and foolproof) way to transfer a file from my Apple Computer (running OS 10.6.8) to my iPhone (running iOS 12.4), please?

Very many thanks for taking the time to read this
