What VPN's are you folks using in the US? I was using Private Internet Access and didn't resub at the end of the contract. It would not let me email outgoing messages on my computer and it will be flaky at times. Using it on the phone was somewhat okay.

I have used 3 or 4.
TunnelBear and EncryptMe (formerly Cloak) seem quite good.

I encountered a real bargain on VPN Unlimited some time ago – LIFETIME unlimited subscription for a one-time flat fee – and bought that, which (because it is already completely paid for) is what I mostly use, any time I'm at someone else's Wifi hotspot.
