Re: [apple-iphone] Selective answering

Blocking phone numbers not in your contacts is not the answer. Many of the robocalls spoof the number.

You should look into the various apps that block robocalls. There have been many listed in recent posts and news articles.

In my case, I get many calls from numbers not in my contacts. Calls from medical offices that use a common outgoing number, medical offices I am referred to, government offices I need to talk to.

Maybe I should have written: selective ringing....

The phone is not going to answer the call. It is going to play a ring tone.

I want to silence robo calls by setting my iPhone so that it only rings when the caller is in my contacts.
