Re: [apple-iphone] Force Reset

I have gotten to the point where I can press the up/down buttons, them the on/off button without the swipe to turn off coming up. I hold the on/off button but nothing happens after that.

You have to quickly press the volume up button, the volume down button (that sequence is required) and then hold down the on/off button until the Apple logo appears on your screen.  It took a couple of tries for me to get the timing right on my iPhone X.

My hubby got me an iPhone 8 Plus for Christmas. I looked at a couple videos on how to force restart the phone. Doesn't seem to work for me. I don't know if I'm too slow pushing the up and down volume control before holding the on/off button or if my phone just won't do it. Any suggestions would help.
