Yes, it worked with the digital Apple Store cards I received as gifts last year that were originally purchased from Apple. I can't speak to the Barclay's credits because I don't have one of their cards and can't find a site answering the question.

Pat, do you know if that works with digital Apple Store cards? My Barclay's VISA earns me Apple Store credits sent to me periodically as a digital card in an email
