As a result of this thread and the comments offered I joined the world of Apple Pay.

However I have not used it. Most of the stores I visit do not accept it according to my bank and my observations.

Stores include COSTCO, Home Depot, Lowes, ShopRite and Walmart. I didn't see the Apple Pay logo when checking out. I don't know if CITI Bank is providing a complete list.

Hoping to try it soon.

Of my purchase, I pay for as many as possible using Apple Pay. I find it faster and more convenient, and it is more secure than credit cards.

While Apple may want you to use Apple Pay, no one is forced into it.

Easy to avoid.

All but one of the 6 supermarket I go to accept it; McDonalds, Chick-Fil-A, 1 auto-parts store I know of, 1 gas station I know of (and probably more to come soon).

Apple, of course, and many online "e-tailers".
