I'd like to know also. I do not work to spend $1000 just for the phone since I'll be buying outright. I know it will cost me over $1000 for an iPhone 8 Plus including buying a sim and activation but with the iPhone X, $1000 is just for the phone before tax.

Being that I am not with one of the 4 major carriers, I have no idea when I will be able to order. Went into Best Buy the other day and got to compare the new iPhone X with the iPhone 8+. Being that I could actually purchase the 8+ right now, It was very tempting. Is the X worth the wait?
