Re: [apple-iphone] Waterproof Isn't Real Waterproof

There is a swim app. On the watch click on the little green man activity icon. Scroll all the way to the bottom and you will find 2 swim workouts.

The lack of water resistance/ proofing was the reason I did not buy an Apple Watch until last week. I now have the series 3.

Discussed this very issue with two Apple people in the store. Told me to take it off before going into the ocean and shower. But OK for washing hands and being in rain for a short while.

I could be wrong but it seems like Apple is playing games with the international standards definitions.

I thought I saw watch ad with people swimming. And there is a swimming app that I deleted.
