Thank you! Yes, I also deal with that top heavy feeling with the 6+ and have to you the death grip in fear of it toppling over. The reviews just keep getting better and better.

Now I am getting excited.

Hi Cyndi - the X is much more comfortable for my medium sized hands. It is more balanced for me. I often held the 6s towards the bottom constantly feeling like it would fall from the top edge. I was always gripping it quite firmly. The X rests securely without the " death grip". 

I don't do a lot of one handed thumb use but it is possible with the reachability feature carried over from the 6s. It is invoked a little differently by swiping  down  from the bottom edge. It has to be enabled in General➡️Accessibilty➡️Reachability 

And it is much more easy to carry in a woman's pants pocket.

Got mine two days ago. I like the size as compared to my 6plus. I find that apps that are updated for the X use the screen more efficiently. Those that aren't create bars that make text smaller. I am sure most will be updated quickly.  It is narrower so landscape takes getting used to. 

I love the speed of Face ID. And the gestures are more natural. 

I can't decide whether I like True Tone. It seems to make the whites more yellow than True Tone on my iPad Pro. I like the white with it turned off.  

I don't mind the notch it disappears in my mind. I miss the battery percentage and the VPN icon. Both have to be viewed  in control center. I especially don't like the vpn in Control center because I get frequent drops from the vpn which is not readily seen with the symbol hidden in control center. It should be up in one of the corners in my opinion. 

I love wireless charging for quick Supplementation. I think the phone audio is clearer than the 6s. 

So far I like it a lot.

I had to update to High Sierra on my desktop in order to run the compatible iTunes.  This caused me grief in iPhoto (new Photos could't recover my iPhoto picture file-still have the photos backed up - just not organized) and in Mail (I use tons of rules which all had to be redone - not finished yet).
