Re: [apple-iphone] iPhone crashes when taking photographs.

Thank you, Ken.

So if the battery is faulty, why would the fault only show up when taking (no flash) photos?

And when the iPhone is rebooted after a crash with a full battery why would the battery still appear to be full?

Puzzling!

Ian, if the phone still has it's original battery, it could be the battery is faulty.

My iPhone 5S occasionally crashes to a black screen which then shows an empty battery and a prompt to charge the 'phone. This occurs even when the iPhone was 100% charged before the crash.

Connecting to a charger and restarting restores normal working.

Has anyone experienced this? What is causing it and is there a solution?

regards,

Ian
