I have landscape mode. There is no split screen which I did not use on my plus phone. I liked the large email reading space of landscape. Just have to go back to see the list of incoming emails ( still in landscape mode). Works good for me.

That's correct. The X does not have the landscape feature of the Plus phones. I'm disappointed that it's not. But I bet if enough people complain they may change it in a future OS release.Roger--On Monday, Nov 20, 2017 at 11:57 AM, Letitia Labell l_labell@yahoo.com [apple-iphone] <apple-iphone@yahoogroups.com> wrote:I heard that the X does not do the home screen landscape mode or the split screen of email in landscape mode that you get when using a Plus phone. It is more balanced for me. I often held the 6s towards the bottom constantly feeling like it would fall from the top edge. I was always gripping it quite firmly. The X rests securely without the " death grip".I don't do a lot of one handed thumb use but it is possible with the reachability feature carried over from the 6s. It is invoked a little differently by swiping down from the bottom edge. It has to be enabled in General➡️Accessibilty➡️ReachabilityAnd it is much more easy to carry in a woman's pants pocket.SueCordially,Susan Ferraglio-Genecco, DVM

I was hesitant about the size difference. Going down in size feels natural or is it an adjustment with the hands?

I find that apps that are updated for the X use the screen more efficiently. Those that aren't create bars that make text smaller. I am sure most will be updated quickly. It is narrower so landscape takes getting used to.
I love the speed of Face ID. And the gestures are more natural.I can't decide whether I like True Tone. It seems to make the whites more yellow than True Tone on my iPad Pro. I like the white with it turned off.I don't mind the notch it disappears in my mind. I miss the battery percentage and the VPN icon. Both have to be viewed in control center. I especially don't like the vpn in Control center because I get frequent drops from the vpn which is not readily seen with the symbol hidden in control center. It should be up in one of the corners in my opinion.I love wireless charging for quick Supplementation. I think the phone audio is clearer than the 6s.So far I like it a lot.SueCordially,Susan Ferraglio-Genecco, DVM
