1. As of today I can't type the letter I in either upper or lower case on my iPhone 6 +. The i is changed to an A followed by a space and then a column of short horizontal lines.
I mentioned this to my non techie wife who immediatedly gave me a fix. She saw numerous people complaing about this situation on Facebook.
Go into settings/ general/ keyboard/ text replacement.
Tap + in the top right corner.
Type lower case i on the phrase line and capital I on the shortcut line.
Save.
That worked.
2. I have been experiencing screen orientation problems. I also mentioned that to my wife. She has the same problem on her iPhone 7. The phones go into landscope mode without turning the phones. No fix for that yet but now that I know it is not me I will do some research.
3. My iPhone does not usually sound a tone when text messages come in. All settings are correct and it should play a tone. I assumed it was another quirk with my phone but now based on the above two items I am wondering if anyone elsr is experiencing this.
