Easy, turn off show messages in the lock screen.Notification Center> Messages> Show in lock ScreenOn Sat, Jul 26, 2014 at 2:46 PM, LonghornTxCwby@aol.com [apple-iphone] <apple-iphone@yahoogroups.com> wrote:
My job often requires texting of somewhat sensitive data which I prefer others to not see. Because of what I do I often have my phone out on my desk where I may readily see it. Unfortunately others are able to see it as well and, even though the phone is locked, the message is easily visible on the screen or, if I have forgotten my phone on the desk, all anyone needs to do is to press the home button in order to read the first several lines of the text.
Have researched on line for a good iPhone SMS app but am confused by the different options. Has anyone a suggestion for an easy to use, simple app which would 1) NOT display the message on the screen and, 2) should I walk away from my phone and someone picks it up before it auto locks, would prevent them from being able to read the message without the appropriate password?
