I would try clicking in the Apple ID box, delete the old address, enter the new address & then enter the password.

Hello, on my iPhone 5s I am having trouble with iTunes.
I changed my email address on everything including iTunes.
iTunes shows my email address correctly as barrycant0@gmail.com
But my phone keeps asking me to Sign in to iTunes Store.
Enter the Apple ID password for barry@india-whisky.org.uk, but this is my old email address!
When I put in my password I get:
Could not Sign In. Your Apple ID or password is incorrect..
What am I missing here?
