You don't need a power converter. Just get a universal plug converter and you should be fine. If you're going to be in some hotels then you might an international plug to connect to. I always carry international converter.

The cheapest I found one in New Zealand was $20 each (New Zealand dollars(.  In Australia everything was slightly more expensive.  Get them here.
