When you say doing a forced reboot, you hold it until the Apple appears, correct? I believe that is only a reset.Either way, that does not quit any apps that were running before doing that, so check to see what is running and then look at the settings for those apps.BrentOn Mar 22, 2014, at 9:44 PM, Archie Grapa wrote:My Dad's iPhone 5S is having some issues. The light shuts off. Doesn't react (immediately) to pressing any button. When I press the power button, doesn't light up. Then I press the home button, nothing happens. After around five seconds, it lights up then takes a screenshot. Then back to the same issue. I believe something's keeping it real busy in the background.
Doing a forced reboot (holding both power and home buttons for a few seconds) temporarily solves it. Comes back later in the day.
