[apple-iphone] iPhone 3GS reborn

 

I just dug my 3gs out of the drawer for my 10 year old grandson.  I activated it and all is well.  That was a good phone!  It wants to upgrade to iOS 6.1.6.  

Is there any reason I did not do that 2 years ago?  Is it a benefit or will it just slow the phone?
