Why do you have to search music to find your audiobooks? All of my audiobooks are available under the "Audiobooks" tab in the Music app, nicely grouped by the book name. How are you storing your books in iTunes? Are you classifying them as "Books"? (I assume you're not getting these books from Audible, because my Audible books go automatically into the Books category. )
