  "Obvious" and "not abstruse" unless you use a term that conjures a completely different image -- one of a charger in your living room charging a phone in your bedroom.
  
  Inductive charging, meanwhile, is quite *ordinary*, not "extraordinary" in the least, even if you were totally unaware of the process.
