Apps no longer transfer from the iPhone to the computer. Apple stopped it a while back due to the reasons I gave you in my last reply.

Well, I'm not sure but it sounds like your answer is referring to "both versions" as meaning the iphone and ipad versions. My question is only in reference to iphone versions. I'm referring to an old version of an iphone app and a new updated version. I want to be able to downgrade to the old version using iTunes if I upgrade to a new version on my phone but don't like it. The problem is, if I plug in my phone and sync with iTunes, will iTunes overwrite the old version that's stored on my computer with the new one that's on the phone?
