[apple-iphone] Contact update

 

I have a 5S phone.  I wanted to add a contact in a group called Other.

Here is the method I have been using but it does not seem to update the phone when synced.

"Click new contact

Add the contact

Right click on group name to be added to

Open

Add to contact group

Find contact and hit add.

Sync phone"

Using windows explorer, I went to users\owner\contacts\contacts, opened the "other" group and entered the phone #.  Then I did a sync with the phone.  # did not show up.  Question:
***Why is there 2 contacts folders in windows and what is the difference. 

I ended up going to the phone and opening only the "other" group and adding the ph # there.

Does anyone have a foolproof method to add ph#'s to groups and have it update the contacts list in windows?
