Hi all. Just wondering if Anyone has been having any issues with the stock messaging app?
For the past week I've been experiencing a lag time in receiving text messages as well as iMessages from a few days to up to a week.
I have the iPhone 6+, am up to date on iOS 9 & have AT&T.
Last week when I called to complain the service rep told me that the test texts she sent show that the a Messages are working fine. Today I received several text from Tuesday as well as one dated from October 1st.
I happened to pass by an AT&T store & told them my issue. The rep there told me that it's a known issue with the new iOS.
This has me troubled because my mom is going in for surgery on Wednesday & in the event that she needs something for me to bring to her, she usually texts.
I also told the rep this & he suggested that I switch to a non-Apple device during that time.
