I upgraded my iPhone, iPad and Mac yesterday to the most recent versions of iOS and OSX. I have two comments and questions:
Siri Launch Sound
I see with iOS 9.1 that the audible sound is back when you launch Siri by pressing and holding the home button. I wish you could toggle this off and on as there are times when you are out in public that you would prefer not to hear the 'beep'. Does anyone know if this can be toggled off and on?
Phone set to Vibrate for texts
It seems that the new vibration for texts and calls is a series of multiple short vibration bursts rather than a longer single vibration. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but the sound created by the multiple bursts is louder than with the single burst. When I am at work I have my phone set to vibrate only. When it is on my desk and a text comes in, the sound the phone makes when vibrating against a hard surface is actually distracting.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I don't suppose anyone can find a setting on how the vibration can be changed? Perhaps somewhere in accessibility?
