My iTunes library is housed on my iMac where I have ripped my collection of CDs along with music purchased from iTunes. It is backed up routinely to external hard drives and my iOS devices are synced to that computer. I also use iTunes Match which stores all of my music in the cloud (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204146). Here's some support info from Apple on how to backup:

literally, I use third-party app (SynciOS) to transfer audio and video, photos etc. you know... iOS system is not that convenient on sharing or transferring data :( anyway..still luv it.
