In my experience, AT&T employees will say anything to get a non-Apple phone sold. I've seen Verizon do the same. I am a VZ customer. I switched from AT&T.

Thanks Brent. I will call Apple support tomorrow. The AT&T rep I spoke to at the store said that he was experiencing this on his iPhone as well.
