Nope As I said before I don’t have a Books category in iTunes on the side bar.

This happened to me. All books are now in iBooks app on computer. To get books on to my iPhone or iPad I connect my device to computer with charging cord. Open up my device in the side bar. Then you will see there is a heading at the top labeled books and you can then put which books you want on to your device. Hope this helps
