In the Books category in my sidebar (iTunes 11.3.1 under MacOS 10.9.4), I get a huge message that says:
“Your books have moved. Your book collection has moved to the new iBooks for Mac. Open iBooks to read your favorite books and organize your book colection, right on your Mac.”
