Waiting for a 6s, if you want to is fine. I have the 5 and have upgraded every 2 years when my contract runs out. I'm really looking forward to a bigger phone like the rumored 5.5. If it's not announced then I'll go for the one that is announced. It'll be 2 yrs for me Oct. 1 and battery life is getting a bit thin on my 5. My hubby's battery life is worse than mine and he says that instead of taking it to Apple for a new battery, he'll get the new iPhone.

With the 5, people have told me there wasn't much of a difference between a 5 & a 5S.
What do you think of immediately purchasing a 6, versus waiting to see if a 6S is released & is markedly better?
There will ALWAYS be a next product coming out that is better or faster or whatever.Wait as long as you want to.I chose to move from the 4S to the 5SYou might find that features of iOS 8 that you desire run slow on a 4S.You CERTAINLY don't have to upgrade as soon as the product is released.
