I am confused... wouldn't a bigger iPhone have to be able to run iPad Code to act like an iPad?? I suspect that a bigger screen on an iPhone might mean bigger views of the same presentations and only result in less squinting and maybe more accurate touching... am I completely wrong???

I'd be surprised if a larger iPhone did more than simply scale up existing iPhone apps. That would necessitate app makers to offer 2 versions for iPhones -- a big deal for them. Since the iPad mini runs iPad apps in a smaller scale, it seems logical that a larger iPhone would do the reverse for iPhone apps.
All our speculation will be answered in a few hours!
