My DH and I both upgraded to 11.4.1 on our iPhone 7+s and neither of us have had any problems with updating apps. I updated 3 apps right before sending this email.
Previously, on the last version of 11.4 when I've had trouble updating apps I would click on the Today icon and then press that icon 10 times and that seemed to fix it.
