[apple-iphone] Re: Playlists not synching to iPhone 6

I have had that failure to sync problem for a couple of years on my 6+.

First quit iTunes on your computer and swipe away Music on your phone.
Then try to sync.

If that doesn't work shut down your computer and iPhone.
Then turn both back on.
You should be able to sync music after that.

A simple restart on the computer doesn't always work.

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.

[apple-iphone] Playlists not synching to iPhone 6

I recently had to replace the CD player in my vehicle and the replacement unit supports Bluetooth, so I've been using the music on my iPhone 6 whenever I'm on the road. It's generally worked well, but I've found that if I create a new playlist on iTunes, it does not get copied to my iPhone when
I synch the device. Is there a hard limit to the number of playlists that can be shared?

When I look at the playlists on my device (14 smart playlists, 28 manual), it's only a subset of those I've got set up on iTunes on my computer (16 smart playlists, 33 manual). There do not seem to be any obvious differences between the playlists that synch and those that don't, except that only older playlists seem to synch.

System details:

Windows 10 PC running the most recent patches
iTunes 12.8.0.150 (the last time I updated, it bricked my phone, so I'm a few versions back)
Synching over USB/Lightning cable
iPhone 6 with 64 G storage, 10-11 G free

Does this problem sound familiar to anyone and how did you fix it?

Regards,
Nicholas

Re: [apple-iphone] Update Glitch

If anyone thinks iOS 11.4.1 is the problem, download iOS 12 Public Beta. It is very stable.

Updated to 11.4.1 and now cannot update apps. This problem is widespread but I've not yet seen it discussed here. Does anyone know if there's any word from apple on when or if a patch will occur to fix this problem?

Fixed now?  My 8+, with 11.4.1, seems tonight to be updating fine.

Re: [apple-iphone] Update Glitch

I don't have that problem on any of my iOS devices. (Five of them run iOS 11, others 9 or 10.) I seem to remember having such problem to some extent using previous versions of iOS.
So, in MY opinion, there's nothing to be fixed in iOS. (But I'm not denying others' problems.)

I don't expect a version 11 fix, as I run public betas on one device (but there currently aren't), and iOS 12 is around the corner (developers beta).
