So are you saying that you aren't having the voiceover focus problems that others have reported having in Safari? Or the problem with voiceover not reading notifications on the lock screen?

I realize there are work arounds for these bugs, but for me, these bugs would be a big nuicence.

Only reason my iPad 4 isn't on iOS 8 is that I still need to clear more space for it. Is there any validity to something I have heard, that upgrading iOS 7 to 8 but using MacBook and iTunes rather than wifi will not cost as much space? Sorry if I've missed that point here before.

I know this thread is regarding upgrading the 4s to 8.1 but this poster is saying not to upgrade even the 5 or 5s. I must disagree!!

My wife has a iPhone 5 running iOS 8.1 comfortably it performs like a clock with no problems at all. In fact no reduction in performance at all. And of course my iPhone 5s is doing just as well. So no concern when up grading the 5 or the 5s to iOS 8.1.
