I have been experiencing App Store intrusions while trying to read articles via various news sites. My wife has the same problem. I believe this started after iOS 8 was installed.
That happens to me when I accidentally click on an ad that I did't notice that is promoting the app you were taken to at the app store. It happens with iOS 5.5, as well.We start to read an article and then all of a sudden the phone skips to an app in the app store. we have to close that window and then go back to the article we were trying to read.
