Alice my wife I got the Plus model. I'm very happy with the extra screen size. She has smaller hands and isn't quite as happy, except when she's surfing or watching videos or reading her mail, or playing games…(that is, when she's using it! When she's just holding it in her hand, it feels too large…)

I found that I really liked the larger screen and feel that in the near future developers will figure out how to take full advantage of the larger screen and we'll get some neat apps. I upgraded my 4s to IOS 8.1. No problems at all. Works great so far. I was nervous about hitting "Download and Install" but couldn't help myself. Seems fine to me.
