Please don't update iphone 4s to IOS 8.1 cause you'l get crash many time.IOS 8.x fully support for Iphone 6, so if you have Iphone 4s, 5S, i suggest don't up grate.
All my friend that up grate IOS of Iphone 4 to IOS 6 was regret, They wish they never did it.
Most of a year ago I replaced my 4S with a 5S, but I kept the 4S around as a spare phone. With the discussions here, I decided to upgrade the 4S to iOS 8 to see what it was like on old hardware.
My 4S runs fine on iOS 8. It doesn't even seem notably slower than 7.1.2 did. Has not crashed once.
As for the 5S, I updated *that* to 8 as soon as possible, and love it. I would recommend iOS 8 for anyone using a 5S, all the more so if they also have an iPad or Macintosh.
